Saturday, Greg & I drove to Birmingham for one of my college roommates wedding. It’s a pretty good haul, but it was a lot of fun! We sat at a table with friends and had great food and lots of laughs.
Haydne and Lisa signing the card we were all giving.
Love this picture, because it really captures the spirit of the night for me: lots of laughing!
all the girls: Marcy, Lisa, me, Hollie, Haydne and Becky (Marcy, Lisa & Haydne lived together and Hollie, Becky & I lived together and we all seemed to come as a package deal. There was some cross-over, Marcy & I were the Marketing Twins and Hollie & Lisa both the Accountants, Haydne and Becky ever the oddballs with Graphic Design and Psychology)
Sunday, I drove back down to the lake and went by the golf course to pick up the kids so Mammie & Grandaddy could get in some real playing. They all had fun playing around waiting on me, though. We went back and took naps at the lake.
We had another gorgeous day and were planning to leave Monday, but Emily calls and says she has M-W off and was going to come down, so we ended up sticking around another day! We had a great time – it was starting to get cooler, though. Mammie rearranged her schedule to stay home Tuesday and it was good to get more time with her as well before we headed home.
watching a little ELMO! before bed. Greg sent an email with pictures in it for each of the kids and Wyatt loved his Jungle Book image and Dellaina her Princess, but Samuel nearly knocked everyone over trying to get to the computer screen to excitedly point at his ELMO!!!!
this picture makes Emily & I laugh, because we kept asking them to look under the trampoline and they kept doing it!
Mammie said Wyatt would yell, “FISH! COME HERE NOW!” the first day before they got him his own fishing pole.
We’ve all been recovering at home this week. Yesterday, Dellaina got a package from Granny with some new rain boots! Wyatt didn’t feel slightest in the least.
Hoo-Hoo likes the new “background”?? For fellow Bloggers, it’s super nice, actually, because you don’t actually have to change the template and reset all of your side bar stuff! It’s just adding an html gadget that you can easily delete or change! Which means, it’s not an exact fit and required a bit of tweaking the header, etc. to fully cover the old one, but still. . nice enough for a good change. Thanks, Cassi for finding such a cute site. I clicked on your little Chair and voila! I was inspired to change! I would add more cute things to my sidebar, but can’t seem to get Blogger to rearrange them properly, they all just end up at the top, so it’s enough for now.
