Wyatt Gregory was born this morning at 6:57AM weighing in at 8 pounds 6 ounces (3 ounces bigger than his sister when she was born) 21 inches long. He has a head full of dark hair, and is super soft. He looks like Dellaina a little, but I haven't really decided much beyond that. He's a little squeaky and sings to us. Breastfeeding has been attempted twice and seems to be going well. Daddy and his assistants, Aunt Emily and Aunt Morgan, all changed the first stinky/sticky diaper.
Dellaina has done really well with him, despite being tired. They exchanged gifts (stickers! among a few other Dollar Store finds) and she had a big time holding him and patting/stroking on him. Hopefully things will continue to go well. We'll see how she reacts when he actually comes home with us and is a permanent fixture.
Mama is doing well, managing pain with the clicks on the epidural pump. It was a good experience for us this time around and went smoothly. There was a little extra bleeding during the surgery that's being monitored and the squeaking in him could indicate something if it becomes more guttural, but overall, we are all doing well.
